Help support Oregonians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty
It is the belief of the OADP that a full and fair analysis of these issues inevitably leads to the conclusion that the continued use of the death penalty is not in the best interests of the citizens of the State of Oregon. Therefore, the OADP works to promote principles of restorative justice for all those affected by murder, including victims, family members, prisoners and prisoners' families, and supports the imposition of true life sentences for the crime of aggravated murder.
Peace Action Council

We, the members of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Corvallis (UUFC), "are committed to those processes which create wholeness in the life of the individual and society, and stand opposed to those which distort and destroy that wholeness." (Bylaws of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Corvallis, Article II, Statement of Purpose)
The UUFC Peace Action Plan was approved by the voting members of the congregation on April 20, 2008 by a vote of 130 in favor and 7 opposed. Here is the final version of the plan.
